Description
115,000Having just agreed the purchase of my "forever" plane, this, my gorgeous RV9A needs to find a new home. I've enjoyed every second of owning and flying it. I don't really do local flying - it's almost all "distance" flights. From home (Deanland) to West Ireland a few weeks ago, it was just over two hours. This is a cracking plane. Is "cracking" the right term? Hmmm, perhaps not. This is a great plane. That's better.
What does it have?
Dynon Skyview Classic
Fab Dynon Autopilot
Trig radio
AOA pitot
Manual trim (never got around to changing it)
Pilotaware FX feeding traffic to the Dynon screen as well as to SkyDemon
Four point Crow harnesses (will be grey, not blue) - fifth (c/w crotch strap)
Lycoming IO320 D1A
Sensenich fixed pitch prop
Hobbs 200 hours, Tach 160 hours - rising. Aircraft in regular use
Built 2018 (imported from the states)
Almost new Annual/Permit (March 2025)
Very regular oil/filter changes
Upgraded (AntiSplat) nosegear
New and repositioned canopy struts (for easier access)
AntiSplat gustlock
AntiSplat Easy Exit Bar (for easier access)
AntiSplat Cupholders
Excellent paintwork
Always hangared
Cruise @ 2450 is around 145Kts where it burns about 30lph
The other thing it has is a clever box that connects SkyDemon to the autopilot and radio. So the autopilot follows your SkyDemon route and if you touch a radio frequency on SkyDemon, it loads it into the radio standby frequency. Added redundancy means that you can always revert to a flightplan loaded into the Dynon.
I need the hangar space for my new toy.
