PA22 12,950Piper Colt PA22-108 EI-EZX (formerly G-ARJF)

For sale is my beautiful '61 Piper Colt 108, due to a change of circumstances. She is a stunning example, with lots of nice upgrades (such as the skylight, dual fuel tanks, leather interior, etc).

Current permit is June 2025. No expense has been spared when it comes to maintenance and upkeep, and I think the photos show it. I'll be very sad to see her go.

Some of the upgrades are: dual 18 gallon tanks, skylight, disc brakes, 8.33 kHz radio, four point harnesses, mode-c transponder, alternator upgrade, lightweight starter, spin-on oil filter, beautifully re-upholstered, and more.

Approximately 2430 hours on the engine (though she had a rebuild approx. 500 hours ago) and 4100 airframe hours. All logbooks and paperwork are present and available for inspection.

This aircraft is often flown over the Irish Sea between Ireland and North Wales, which speaks volumes about the maintenance and reliability of this Colt.

All in all, this is a beautiful plane for very little money. Offered at a real bargain price for a quick sale.

PLEASE NOTE: This aircraft is currently on an Irish reg under ILAS (Irish Light Aviation Society), which is similar to the UK LAA. It is a permit aircraft (Historic, Vintage and Classic aircraft) so is much cheaper to operate than CofA aircraft. It could, of course, be moved back onto the G reg or onto the N reg if wanted, but that's not something I know much about as I have always operated on the IE reg. It is worth noting that a UK PPL entitles you to fly Irish permit & vintage aircraft like this one (but not Irish CofA aircraft).
